Aleluia Ceramics opens exhibition celebrating 120 years in Aveiro

On Saturday, August 2, Aleluia Ceramics inaugurated the exhibition “120 Years of Aleluia Ceramics – Pieces of History, Spaces of the Future” at the Galeria da Antiga Capitania do Porto de Aveiro, an emblematic venue in the city where the company was founded and has grown for more than a century.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Aveiro, Ribau Esteves, the Aleluia Ceramics management team, employees, former employees, and numerous residents who joined us to celebrate this historic moment.

More than just a symbolic celebration, this exhibition offers a journey through the legacy and evolution of a company that, since 1905, has been a benchmark in the Portuguese ceramic industry, constantly innovating in design, technology, and solutions for architecture and interior design.

The exhibition features historical pieces, production processes, hand-painting techniques, and advertising from different eras, culminating in a showcase of the company’s most recent collections. It also extends beyond the gallery with an urban tour highlighting locations in Aveiro where Aleluia Ceramics continues to leave its mark, underlining the brand’s deep connection to the city.

The exhibition runs until 28 September, with free entry, offering a unique opportunity to explore the past, present and future vision of this centenary company.
