Batista do Bacalhau, in Aveiro, was reborn with a new identity. The renovation brought a more modern and welcoming look, where every detail was designed to create an experience that goes beyond the meal.
In the dining room, the counter was clad with the Raku collection, whose bright and irregular surface gives the space a understated elegance with an artisanal soul. In the bathrooms, the same collection covers the walls, creating coherent and carefully considered environments.
Completing the atmosphere, a hand-painted cod illustration on the dining room wall pays homage to the restaurant’s identity, anchoring the space in a visual narrative with character and personality.
A project that shows how materials with history can transform a space without stripping it of its soul.
