At Murcia Airport, the Urban Atelier collection became the centrepiece of a façade that stops people in their tracks.
Studio Aleatoria Projects conceived a pixelated pattern running the full length of the duty free store, drawing on part of the collection’s 48-colour palette to create a composition of rhythm, depth and immediate visual impact.
The scale of the wall amplifies the effect, with colours shifting fluidly between warm and cool tones to form a contemporary mosaic that catches the eye and invites a pause. A transit space becomes a moment of visual discovery.
The result is a surface that works as a large-scale work of art — where ceramic stops being a covering and becomes an identity.
